Mike & Diane Richardson

Mike & Diane are involved in three different mission works. Mike also has a construction business, which is how he supports his family. Grandview supports the Richardsons financially so that Mike can spend a greater amount of this time with these three mission works.

Mexico Missions

The Mission Mexico group started over ten years ago building new sites for congregation all over Mexico. The Richardson Family has been involved in this work since that time. The original group started with just 15 people from Arkansas, Iowa and Texas. The Brown Trail church of Christ in Texas and the Davis City church of Christ in Iowa began the support work under the direction of Rick Owens. Since that time the group has grown to more than 50 Christians from churches of Christ in Texas, Kansas, Tennessee, Ohio, Missouri, and Iowa. more about the Mexico mission trips…

Jamaica

In June of 2004 Michael Richardson made a teaching trip to Jamaica with Eugene Jenkins. They also had hopes of setting up a new building but God had another plan for the team. In September of 2004 Hurricane Ivan came across the seas and completely wiped out the Sandy Bay church of Christâ€™s building.

Riga, Latvia

Riga, Latvia is a country that is located on the Baltic Sea to the West and Russia on the East. Randy Watson of the 39th Street church of Christ in Independence, MO is the local minister and evangelist. He has been working in this area full time since January 2004. The Richardsonâ€™s have been to Riga for the past two years with another trip planned for this year. The area is beautiful with lots of trees and rolling hills, and the temperatures are about the same as Iowa.
