“Grandview Church of Christ supports ChristianCourier.com”
Investigating faith, ethics and religious doctrine
“Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so.” Acts 17:11
One of the mission outreach efforts that we support here at the Grandview Church of Christ is the Christian Courier.
The Christian Courier is published in two formats: a monthly, printed edition and an online electronic edition. The printed edition has been published monthly since May, 1964. Wayne Jackson of Stockton, California has been the editor since its inception.
The electronic edition began in October of 1998 with the objective of developing an online library of information that would strengthen Christians by supplying quality, biblically-sound materials that were easily accessible around the globe.
While articles appearing in the printed edition will eventually be incorporated into the web site edition, they remain two distinct publications.
There is one thing that all visitors to this web site share in common-even the unbelievers who happen by. Everyone who visits the Christian Courier is looking for something-something spiritual in nature. They are looking for answers to the greatest questions that issue from the mind of man. They are looking for the reasons and purposes of life. They are looking for truth.
We hope you will find just how deep and valuable this library is. And what a bargain. All of this research is available for free by simply accessing our site.
While the material on the web site is free, it is not without cost to someone. This work would not be possible without the generous assistance of the Lord’s people who have an interest in evangelism. It is to them we owe a great deal of gratitude; it would not be possible without you!
We are proud of the work that Wayne Jackson and his family are doing with the Christian Courier. Grandview has supported this work for the last five years.
If you have not taken the time to view this Biblically sound site please take the time today to do so, or if you would like a paper version we have many copies available in the fellowship hall.
Please let me know what you think about the Christian Courier, both strengths and areas of opportunity.
Thank you,
Darin Thompson
Missions Deacon
P.S. Ladies please take a look at “Women of Hope”, an extension of the ChristianCourier.com written by Betty Jackson, and especially designed for women.
